Additional Notes 7/19/03 Revision
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Fire Room
-------------
The continuously rotating camera was intentionally made to continue rotating to give the player an interesting means of viewing for navigation through the fire. Needless to say, a room with a path in fire is not very hard to do. But, if the camera continuously rotates around the room, it makes for more of a challenge to get to the switch. The view was made to be breakable so you wouldn't keep getting the fire room's flyby after you stepped off the trigger, and to enable you to spot the exit without having to try out every wall.

WADS
----
I included them just to make sure you have the exact same ones I did when making my level. Perhaps a useless thing, but it's already packaged up and ready to go....

*Hint - Save your game before going down it.

Stretched/Bad textures
------------------
Yes, there are some rough spots. Since this was my first level to be posted, such things are to be expected. Since I did not ask outside sources how to keep textures from being stretched, I didn't know what to do to fix it. As for "badly placed textures", I've had certain areas which I'd rather used a different texture, but I couldn't figure out how to make my own texture map which would have solved a lot of the "badly placed textures". But do not fret my friend, for the next will be better (hopefully).

A Sequel?
---------
One may be expected, just not soon. It has become apparent just from my first few reviews that I may have to get with a forum or something besides the manual to make a level better than this one. This one was one of my best, but that was just me by myself with only the manual. Perhaps with outside help I could achieve a higher rated level.

And Finally.....
----------------

*If you are someone who finds building levels easy or have a vast knowledge of how to make them - Keep in mind that some, even though they wish they were, are simply just not as good or talented as you, so you should at least give them the benefit of the doubt and judge them accordingly.

*If you're a gamer who doesn't build levels - Put yourself in the builder's shoes and think - every single detail of the game, from the room's height and width to which way the texture is facing, was thought out carefully, and even if the builder doesn't appear to have much talent in the area of designing, they've tried their best on that level and are still striving to improve. I would ask that you keep this in mind as you play.

The whole point of not accepting outside help was so I could see how my personal best compared with others. Though my ratings so far haven't been that good, I feel it is a feat in itself for just me to have accomplished what I have.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since, in my next level, I will be accepting outside help, please feel free to give me any pointers you may have by email.

Thank you and enjoy the game!
